The Scottsdale Charros and the City of Scottsdale host the San Francisco Giants during
February and March every year, and Scottsdale Stadium is filled to capacity for most
Cactus League games.
Spring training in Scottsdale and its kick-off event, The Western Heritage Event, are the reason the Charros are able to donate hundreds of thousands of dollars every year to local charities and programs for youth, in addition to funding their Future Teacher Scholarship.
